Celebration Day
What a brilliant day everyone! The boys talking about their TV Shows, Year 4 talking about their films and Year 6 discussing their animations in 3 very special assemblies. Pete and I have loved working with you all and were so pleased we could be with you to share in your successes!
One last chance – tell us exactly what you thought about the whole experience!
Take care – be good! Paul and Peter
Final Animation
Wednesday 24th March
Back in with the Year 6 children to animate a well-known traditional story. Today we are using the school Fizzbook machines so we know everything will work and the school can do it again whenever they want!
Retelling Humpty Dumpty, The Three Little Pigs and many more. Remembered things really well and just got on with the whole thing – champions!!
And action!
Groups coming up with some ace animations. To say this is only the second time they have done this, they are away and working independently. Some groups are editing their work, we have frogs, penguins and bees a buzzing round the room!!
Crazy Characters
Fantastic models! See more by clicking on the Clay Characters page. (Top right of screen)
Creature Comforts
All set and ready for the children to start animating – the models they have made are fantastic!!
Don’t forget…
Make sure that you have everything ready for Wednesday Year 6. Storyboard, backgrounds, characters and props. If you get chance, have a bit of a go at your animation (obviously without filming!)
Remember, simple is beautiful!
See you Wednesday. Paul
So it begins!!
First day with the children today. Year 6 are tackling Stop Motion Animation. It’s lunchtime and already they have mastered Pivot and are really getting good at the skills needed to animate. Editing this afternoon!!
Dates
All the dates for our joint project are in place now. Looking forward to working with you and reading your comments on the blog!!
